Yuck, these new 5.0 Ford coyote motors just were thrown together. They have so many issues it's insane. Potential internal coolant leak already on a 2018 with little over 100k. Already has a blown rear end( he don't tow anything) had to replace the front iwe accuators the wheel bearings, oh and when the iwe actuators go they basically lock your front end in 4x4 so the damage they can cause unknowingly is insane. Don't waste 60to100k on these 5.0s

And she's off to the south for a warranty rebuild then when we get her back we will reinstall along with quite a bit of work to the big old girl to get her tip top for our friend and neighbor.

97 Dodge Dakota sport 318. Good friend of our shop and our landlord had this truck sit at a shop for a few years while they underwent some renovations a big one was having their driveway ripped up and tarred. We now know it blew the freeze plug before it went there and during that yard work and sitting for 2 years it just filled this engine with dirt and sand and gravel and mud we flushed over 18 gallons of water thru the system and still came out with rocks and mud. Unfortunately almost all the freeze plugs are leaking and with this amount of contamination thru everything it's just not worth saving this old 318 when they are a dime a dozen so we're gonna find a good used one for him because the truck is worth it attached pictures is what I flushed out after 16 gallons of water was run thru it

we just purchased a brand new engine for our customer working with her aftermarket warranty company. Please get a pre purchase inspection even if your buying a new car off a lot. This 2019 Hyundai Tucson had under 100k when she bought it just a few months ago. She's put less then 10k miles on it and only had one oil change which she got before the recommended mileage even. There was a code history for misfires already . They changed plugs and coils and knew it had a bad cylinder 2 so they made sure they sold her a 4k dollar warranty with it. 3 months in you think they would go good for it? Nope they told me call the warranty company that's why they sell a warranty. And that was rowe credit in Westbrook, stop thinking because it's a big dealership they won't screw you. Luckily after fighting with the warranty company and the dealership I got most of her engine replacement covered under warranty and she's getting a brand new motor out of it as she should have gotten from the dealership that sold her the dud. A sticker don't mean anything, a big fancy shop and dealership don't mean anything, them having 1000 cars don't mean anything, I implore people to demand a pre purchase inspection no matter where or what you buy for a vehicle thru a reputable shop or dealership search their reviews and see who they have helped and who they have taken for a ride. I see this far too often and tho we go out of our way to help customers not everyone does, be vigilant when buying new or used vehicles y'all. I'm tired of seeing people getting dragged and be on the hook for 40k for a car that's not worth 4k as it sits

Looking forward to a new business relationship with Patriot engines out of baton rouge Louisiana and installing their new engine for this customer and having her have the peace of mind that her engine will last the term of her loan now

2014 Chevy Impala 3.6 engine swap turned into engine rebuilds as the vehicle was from California and was built with high emissions modules on front and back of the engine. Unfortunately the new used replacement didn't come with that feature so we had to salvage the heads off the old 3.6 and install them in the new one, that includes all new head gaskets, head bolts, high pressure fuel pump lines gaskets and.. new timing components.

I feel like I should salute this salad bar 😂 I used .75 to balance this tire so it wasn't a bad rim. I'm guessing they wanted the customer to come back and buy another tire when there's was slamming with 13 ounces of weight inside the rim 😂

2018 ram 1500 big horn 5.7
Came in with a code stating that the mds solenoid responsible for cylinder 7 had an open circuit. After diagnostic we determined the solenoid was faulty and replaced it. No firing the parts cannon here we rely on diagnostics and take our time making a proper diagnosis before we replace anything.
