A New Chapter for Mid-10 Motorsports
I want to take a minute to personally address where Mid-10 Motorsports has been, what we’ve changed, and where we’re going.
Over the last couple of years, I made the decision that I really wanted to expand Mid-10 and open a second location. In December I found my dream shop in a great location. I believed we had the people and systems in place to make that growth successful, but ultimately we grew too quickly and I spread myself too thin trying to manage two locations.
During that time, things at our original shop fell below the standards I built Mid-10 around.
Communication wasn’t always what it should have been. Deadlines were missed. Some customers waited far too long for updates or repairs, and the overall customer experience was not consistently up to the standard I expect from this business.
Ultimately, Mid-10 Motorsports is my company, and it was my responsibility to recognize those problems and correct them sooner. I didn’t, and I take responsibility for that.
That’s also why we’ve made some major changes.
We’ve closed our second location and brought our entire focus back to our original Estill Springs shop. We’ve completely restructured the company, changed our front-office operation, and put new systems in place for scheduling, communication and quality control.
Most importantly, I’m back in the shop every day overseeing operations and working alongside Brandon to make sure the quality of our work and the experience our customers receive are where they should be.
Over the past several months, we intentionally stopped taking on additional work so we could focus on our existing customers, clear our backlog and get the shop back on solid ground.
We’ve now done that.
Our schedule is officially open again, and Mid-10 Motorsports is accepting new work.
We’re moving forward with a renewed focus on what Mid-10 was built around in the first place: high-quality diagnostics and repairs, attention to detail, honest communication and taking care of our customers.
We specialize in late-model Duramax, Cummins and Power Stroke trucks, from advanced diagnostics and maintenance to fuel systems, engine and transmission repairs, electrical issues, programming and performance upgrades.
To everyone who continued to support Mid-10 through the changes, thank you.
And to anyone whose experience with us during that period wasn’t what it should have been, I hear you. We can’t change the experience you already had, but we can make sure the business we operate moving forward reflects the standards Mid-10 should have always represented.
I’m excited about what’s ahead, and I’m looking forward to earning your business and your trust.
