Picked up a troy bilt this spring. Flywheel nut came loose an smoked the stator an snapped off the stator mounts. So I did what any logical person would do an dropped a 20 horse Briggs V twin into it!! Few back n forths on exhaust but I got it figured out an looking factory yet. Bypassed a few of the silly safety sensors an its ready to rock an roll!

This cub was brought to us for slow PTO engagement an blades actually stop in long grass. After inspection found the newly replaced deck belt was too long and twisted causing the belt to slip on PTO pulley. Removed deck found excessive play in deck spindles due to worn out bearings. Customer said replace everything we find wrong with it. Found drive belt was about 10 years past its life. 1 thing seemed to lead to another. New drive belt, new deck belt, new deck spindles, new blades an a fresh oil change to top it off an now its back in service!

Like they say, first time for everything! I can say I've never had to use a puller to remove a secondary clutch on a Polaris, well now I can say I have!

World's longest lawn mower flip ever. Bought it 2.5 years under the assumption transaxle was bad or going out. Probably the nicest looking flipper ive ever bought, turned into the biggest headache. Found crankshaft seal was leaking onto drive belt. Awesome! Thats why it slips! Put a new motor in it to find out new motor is running on 1 of 2 cylinders...🙄 of course drove 30 mins away to test it... back in the trailer it goes. New plugs, cleaned flywheel, cleaned coils, reset coils, still 1 cylinder... new fuel pump, new fuel filter then cleaned carb bam! Both cylinders fire! Excellent! New deck belt, turn the PTO on to engage the blades an it has a RIDICULOUS grind/rattle. Fuuuuuuuuuuck. Ordered new deck spindles, pulleys an blades. Well decks off might as well paint it too... got that squared away. Front tires had slop, assumed bushings were bad. Waited 2 weeks for JD bushings. Take the wheel off the spindles ground out... ordered new spindles. Tires were cooked from riding weird, ordered new tires. But damn does it look good after its all cleaned up! Didn't even get a chance to post it for sale an it was sold!
