🧰2010 BMW 335i 🔧 Owner was experiencing a major oil leak. Every week he had to top off the engine oil. In these picture you can see that the engine oil pan is completely covered with oil. We also found other parts that need to be replaced. We did not replace all the common gaskets in just one day. This is a process and soon the majority of the motor gaskets will be replaced.

🧰🔧🚗 2011 Kia Optima Owner was experiencing some noises coming from the brakes but was not sure if it was coming from the front or rear. We did a full inspection on the brakes and found out that the front and rear needed Rotors and pads.

Owner replaced the ignition coils assuming that was the issue. Unfortunately on this one it wasn’t it. This 2000 Honda Accord v6 had a total of 4 engine codes. It had a random misfire, misfire on cylinder 1, misfire on cylinder 6, and an issue with the egr valve. We found out that the EGR Valve was bad and also the spark plugs. After replacing them the car was back to normal 👍

Today we had a 2002 Volkswagen Golf with a check engine light. The customer stated that the car randomly turned off at a stop. He also mention that he had the same issue before. The vehicle will turn over but will not stay on. We started with the check engine light first. It had 2 codes for knock sensor and fuel pump issue. According to the owner, the knock sensor code has been on since he purchased the vehicle and the motor was staying on. We did a fuel pressure test and found out that it reached the minimum pressure. These cars also have an issue with immobilizer (communication between the ecm, cluster and key) but for right now we will start with repairing the knock sensor and the electrical side of the fuel pump.

WE ARE IN TROUBLE…..
A customer was having some issues with his 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. I later found out it has 3 Engine Codes and one of them being the P420 code. This code is for a bad catalytic converter. As long as the check engine light is on, the vehicle will not pass smog. The customer approved to get the Catalytic converter (2nd picture). Went to a local parts store to purchase the part and then installed it. After I received a text from the customer stating that the check engine light came back on. I went back and found out that not only did the same code came back but also I was sold the wrong Catalytic Converter. The Local part store actually does not sell the correct one for this car. 👎🏽 Tomorrow will be another day and within a few days we will have the car SMOG ready 👍

Dealer stated it needs new rotors and pads. The front rotors on this BMW X1 did definitely need rotors but the brake pads still had a lot of life left. No matter what the rotors and pads had to be changed in order to solve the issue that the owner was experiencing.

For the first time! I removed the wheel and I saw this! One of the brake pads was missing which was causing a loud grinding noise.

What is wrong with this picture?
This is definitely a safety issue! The owner of the car never mentioned anything about this. I went ahead and bolted this back up before anything happens. The battery bracket was completely loose and touching the positive terminal.

2012 Chevy Sonic
Owner had an issue with the brakes. Whenever she would brake at high speeds or downhill she would experience brake pedal pulse and steering wheel shaking. This is caused by warped brake disc (rotor). While I was replacing the Rotors and pads I noticed that the driver side axle was damaged and leaking grease. We went ahead and replaced that

Climate controls were not working on this 2006 GMC Colorado. Ended up have to replace the harness and the resister.
