In 1976 Bob Henson came to the beautiful hidden valley of Escondido, California looking for work. As a skilled body technician he found employment and passed on his love of cars to his son Kirk. From 1976-1984 they worked in several shops in the area. During that time the dream was born to provide quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service as a team. on Repair, Bob and Kirk partnered in what has grown to be one of the premiere collision repair facilities in San DIego County. From 1984 to 2014 many changes have taken place. Henson and Son remains in the same location, but has expended to meet customer demands. In 1998 Bob retired and Kirk purchased Bob's 50% to take complete ownership. Over the next 10 years the business has doubled and to continue the upward trend, Kirk joined the FIx Auto Group in 2012, a network of high end shops with the same quality and service ethic. This association has afforded our customer the best of both worlds, a family owned business with a national network that guarantees service and craftsmanship. So today, even with all the changes that have happened over the last 30 years, Henson's Fix Auto Escondido remains the same in it's mission to serve San DIego North County with honesty, integrity and value.
