Responsibilities:
*Examine cars based on customer statements & determine appropriate repairs needed *Replace or repair worn parts as needed assisting other techs as needed
*Explaining technical diagnoses & Repairs to customers and other employee
*Maintaining an organized and neat bay
*Learning new technical information & Techniques in order to stay relevant in the rapidly changing automotive industry

Join our team of knowledgeable & highly motivated technicians. In this role you will work on a wide variety of vehicles in vastly different ways from general maintenance & repair to custom work on classic and antique cars.

Here is new show that I may be involved with. To be filmed in August in Georgia. We're looking for loads of drivers now who have rigs with off-roading capabilities, but are still street legal. Below is a few of the requirements for the trucks/jeeps we need:

Moderately modified, all purpose, 4x4 rigs (trucks or jeeps) with the following criteria:
35” - 38” tires
steel working doors
original cab
original concept suspension (Lift Kit ok)
minimum rear locker (front locker optional)
minimum 4 point cage
working headlights/taillights/wipers
must be registered, insured and street legal in the state you reside.
must pass “on road” vehicle safety inspection in the state you will be competing
DOT or SNELL approved helmets

I've also attached our flyer which would be great if you could post up with the requirements listed above as the caption.

Westy's Speed Shop also does transmissions rebuilds and performance builds. Here we have a 700R4 apart on the bench. We pulled it out of a 1956 chevy truck that came to us with no reverse. Keep us in mind for all of your transmission needs.

Don't forget Westy's Speed Shop can take care of your muscle car needs. This 72 Dart came in with a hot start issue. Turned out it had a bad ground. It also didn't run quite right so we wound up giving the engine a once over. Set valves to proper lash, timed it, and adjusted the carb. Now she runs like a real muscle car.
