Pine Tree Motors, in Ephrata, PA is looking for Automotive Technicians to join their growing team! The Automotive Technician is responsible to diagnose problems and accurately prescribe the correct repair action(s) and promptly deliver the required service. This includes:
• Proper system diagnosis – tune-up, brakes, air conditioning and all general repairs
• Removal, installation and servicing of components
• Assist in proper maintenance of shop and equipment
• Report any items that are out of stock to the Manager
Skills and Requirements:
• Automotive Tech School or other verifiable experience
• Proper system diagnosis-tune-up, transmission, brakes, electrical, air conditioning and all general repairs.
• Ability to perform oil changes, mount and balance tires
• Must have PA State Inspection / Emission Licenses
• Keep work area clean
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics
• Knowledge of testing sensors
• Ability to use a scanner
• Must have own hand tools
• Experience and knowledge on domestic and import vehicles
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Punctuality
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task
• Test-drive vehicles manual and automatic
• Explain mechanical problems to service advisor
• Keep environment safe
• Maintain keeping customers car clean
• Have a positive attitude
• Diesel experience is preferred but not required
