Anytime a customer tells me “I found a better deal”, I always ask for more info. Why?.. because as “knowledgeable” as most buyers think they are from the internet, many critical facts are missed. For example “the other vehicle I’m looking at is only $12k and yours is $14k” . Here’s the reality, the buyer is looking at a vehicle worth only $10k but paying $12k. Our vehicle is worth $14k and we’re selling it for $14k. The higher priced vehicle is actually a $2k worse deal. Mileage, value, trim, condition and history are often overlooked when only looking at price. Today I pull the history of “the better deal” vehicle and compare it with to ours. This customer told me he was getting a better value. Check out pics below and compare the history of the other truck and our truck and you’ll see what I mean. We won’t even sell a vehicle with a history like that!
