Another reminder of why it's important to SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER for emergency vehicles.

Earlier today, a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. has left an on-duty Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Trooper injured. The crash occurred when a 2015 Nissan Altima struck the 2019 Dodge Charger driven by the ALEA Trooper. The driver and the Trooper were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The crash occurred on Interstate 59 near the 155 mile marker, less than one mile north of Springville, in St. Clair County.

OPERATION MOOSE PART II

Operation Moose has officially started. Each year a local business donates a "herd" of MOOSE to the Police Department. The MOOSE will be riding with Officers who are on the lookout for good boys and girls to adopt a MOOSE.

Looks like the MOOSE are up to the same hijinks as last year and the Patrol Captain's office got MOOSED.
