Great day today helping a fellow RVer. Customer AC was not working so STAT Mobile RV Service to the rescue.

STAT Mobile RV Service helped a customer today with their AC unit. The customer’s complaint was the AC is just not cooling that well anymore. A few diagnostic readings and visual inspection of the evaporator and condenser coils revealed that this unit had been working overtime to move the critical component necessary for an RV AC unit—AIRFLOW—AIRFLOW is King!
After a good assessment of the critical AC components and thorough cleaning the AC’s delta-T dropped by over 4 degrees and airflow increased substantially.

Another day in the life of an RV Technician. Had a call first thing this morning for a family for a Furrion 12vdc fridge that decided to not work today. Went over and diagnosed the issue with the control board. Verified 12 volts going in to the board but not out. Checked the two 40 amp fuses on the board and they were both good. Diagnosis is bad control board.

Another great day in the Florida winter. STAT Mobile RV Service knocked out another inspection today at Le Mesa RV in Sanford, Fl. They provided great support, RV was hooked up and ready to go at 9 am. Salesman met me out front and directed me straight to the unit. He also stopped by a few times to see how things were going and if I needed anything. Buyer was very pleased with the findings and hopefully he makes an educated decision on his purchase. All-in-all another great day in an RV Inspector’s life.

It was a great day today helping a few fellow RV’ers.
First was an emergent call received last night from a gentleman that had the misfortune of “rubbing” his 5th wheel against a tree and used his awning as the bumper. After getting on scene of the accident we were able to put the pieces back together so he could get back on the road.
Next call was a follow up from earlier this week with a Suburban furnace that required a new control board. Received the board today and successfully installed the new board, tested the furnace with satisfactory results, work completed just in time for them to head back north.
All in all a great day bringing RVs “back to life” and helping folks get back on the road enjoying the great adventure that RV’ing brings.
