Two Important Announcements

The Board and Management of Sycamore Springs Park sincerely appreciate the tremendous support our community has shown the park over the past 29 years.

For the last several years, we have hosted and promoted a special Halloween weekend. Thanks to its popularity, the event has grown beyond what we can safely accommodate at the park.

1. For this reason, Sycamore Springs Park will be closed to the general public for the entire day on October 10, 2026. Only registered campers with existing reservations will be permitted to enter the park that day.

All available campsites have already been reserved, and we are at maximum capacity. Please do not plan to visit the park that day unless you have a reservation.

2. Changes Beginning in 2027

Beginning in 2027, Sycamore Springs Park will no longer promote or host Halloween weekend as a special event. We also kindly ask that groups not organize or bring Halloween parties to the park.

Registered campers staying with us during October 2027 are welcome to decorate their individual campsites. The decorations will be a wonderful addition by to the park’s fall atmosphere; however, there will not be a decorating contest or judging in 2027.

Our goal is for everyone to enjoy a peaceful and beautiful month of fall camping at Sycamore Springs Park.
