In the late 1980s, Corvette engineers were exploring how a lighter ZR-1 could deliver even more performance as the Dodge Viper emerged as a new American performance competitor. See it up close in our 'Driven to Preserve' exhibition and discover more of the stories behind the Corvettes we preserve: www.corvettemuseum.org/driven-to-preserve/
