Black Canyon Raceway

Black Canyon Raceway is a 1/7 mile dirt track located just off Hwy 16 at the Gem County Fairgrounds in Emmett Idaho.

Outlaws Karts have been racing at the facility since its inception in 2017.

Remaining season dates,

Our Next Race is the Hasson Hustler September 11th
We pay tribute to the late Mike Hasson and honor all of his efforts to support racing in Idaho. All kart divisions will be running.

Tater Cup 250 will take place September 25th and 26th. Tater Cup will be the original format including a 50 lap $1k to win for the PBT Auto caged Clones and $500 to win for Hammer Down Trucking 250s.
This will be our final points race of the season.

The $5k to Win Bell Helmet Opens will take place at the Topher Classic October 9th and 10th. Topher Classic will use the standard BCR rule book but will not be a points event. Complete format and more details will be posted this week.

Food will be available from A Guy and a Grill, while A&Js Bean Machine will be there with hot and cold drinks.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the track.

Attention Racers, this week’s race August 7th is cancelled.

With the forecasted Temperatures and Smoke models we are making the early call to allow everyone to make other plans.

Our next race will be August 28th.

The wait is over—we are finally back on track tomorrow night! 🏁

It’s going to be a warm one out there, so to make things a little more comfortable for everyone, we are pushing our schedule back by 30 minutes.

Here is the updated game plan for tomorrow:
🚪 Gates Open: 4:00 PM
🗣️ Drivers Meeting: 6:00 PM
⏱️ Qualifying: 6:30 PM

Withdrawal symptoms from a few weeks off? Yeah, us too. 📉

Good news: The withdrawal ends THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!
We’ve spent the downtime reworking the track, and she is ready for battle.

The only question left is... Who is ready to get back on track and sling some mud?! 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

The Tater Cup has a new date for this season and will now take place Friday September 25th and Saturday September 26th.

We will be using the original 2 day format with double heats and main on night one. Qualifiers and mains on night 2.

Caged Clones - $1000 to win
Opens - $250 to win, $200, $150, $100, $75
250s - $500 to win ($1000 to win for 10 karts)

Today June 27th is cancelled. Too much rain has fallen with more rolling in.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and we made every effort.

Tater Cup will be rescheduled.
