Escalation of force... Wrench, bigger wrench, breaker bar, penetrating oil, breaker bar with cheater pipe, (rounded the hex head off the plug, switched to hammer-on damaged fastener sockets) cordless impact, air impact, propane torch, air hammer, finally ended up winning the battle with the welder and enough grunt force. Oui, some days... 🙄 Good thing I've got a brand new check plug ready to install!
