Tough conditions out there this morning, but lucky enough to have a tough crew on board. Overall, the bite was slow. We tried a little bit of everything, including live bait fishing, bottom fishing, and ended up casting jigs to school of Spanish mackerel. We put a mixed bag in the box and ended up with enough for a cookout.

Cobia, King Mackerel, big Spanish Mackerel, Barracuda and big sharks. We found a school of bait loaded with Fish this morning. We had an absolute blast using our light tackle and with 20 pound test.
Went right back out on the second charter and could not find the bait, but we did find a nice Cobia by the sea buoy.

Light tackle fishing for Mahi and Mackerel this morning in a sloppy seas with Southwest winds 15+. I had the perfect crew on board. We caught one mahi jumped off a couple more and landed one big Spanish mackerel. We cut the trip short and got to the dock right before the thunderstorm. Another fun day of fishing.

uper cool family on board light tackle fishing for Mackerel. The weather was about as good as it gets and the bite was hot. The kids took turns and everyone caught oversize Spanish mackerel on light tackle live bait fishing and casting jigs. We had a lot of fun on this trip.

It’s always a pleasure when William and his crew join us for a fishing trip. The sharks ate us alive this day, but we found a spot at the end of the trip to catch enough for a good Fish cookout. And as always, we had some jamming music and a good time.
