CamAuto International Competition has officially come to an end.

We had a blast competing alongside some of the best technicians in the industry from around the world. We gave it everything we had, and at the end of the day, only one person can take the win.

This time, between the pressure, the level of difficulty, and being extremely careful to avoid mistakes, we ran out of time. There were only a few small details left to address, but at this level of quality and difficulty, that’s exactly what it comes down to.

Even though we didn’t take first place, we received great feedback and praise from several highly respected technicians about the quality of our repair. We also made new friends from different parts of the world, which made the experience even more valuable.

Here is the before and after of the damage.

The repair was finished to a level where no sanding or polishing was needed. We simply wiped it down with alcohol and used a light compound to clean it up for final inspection.

So when you bring us your vehicle for something like a normal door ding, acorn damage, or a complex dent, you can feel confident knowing your vehicle is in skilled hands.

CamAuto International Competition has officially come to an end.

What an experience.

We had a great time, met new friends, reconnected with amazing technicians, and pushed the limits on a very complex repair.

I’m extremely happy with how my repair turned out. I took my time, focused on maintaining the factory paint texture, and worked carefully to minimize every possible mistake.

At the end of the day, it was a competition, and only one person can take first place.

Big congratulations to our good friend Diego from Australia. He is an absolute beast and a true artist. Watching him work inspires us to keep improving, keep learning, and keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible in PDR.

Now it’s time to head back, apply what we learned, and keep raising the standard.

The panel was not properly prepared, sealed, or repaired. Over time, the exposed metal began to rust, and that rust started spreading into other areas of the panel.
