The Practical Workcamper Practical, honest guidance on workamping and RV life from people who are doing it. We are Geoff and Sheila Haney with our Boxer dog Ellie.

In March of 2025 Sheila and I transitioned from our lifestyle of the traditional brick and mortar home to full time RV living. Since then we have traveled all over the United States and worked some pretty great jobs. This lifestyle affords us the opportunity to experience life instead of wishing and wondering. However, it does not come easy and there is always a challenge just around the corner. Our purpose now is to help others who want to make this transition less scary and learn form our mistakes. We hope you will come along with us on journeys and feel free to ask any questions. We look forward to meeting you along the way.

🚍 And Just Like That… Another Chapter Closes! 🌅

Our KOA chapter has officially come to an end!

We met some wonderful people, made some great memories, and learned a few valuable lessons along the way.

Not every chapter ends the way you expected, but sometimes knowing when to turn the page is the best decision you can make.

We're taking the friendships, leaving the frustrations, and looking forward to whatever adventures await us.

Life is too short to spend it anywhere that steals your peace.

Elphaba is heading south, Naga is tagging along, Ellie is supervising as usual, and we're ready for what's next!

New roads. New adventures. No regrets. ❤️🐾🚍
