Automotive Service Advisor / Writer Responsibilities:

Scheduling customer service appointments
Greeting customers in a professional manner
Accurately writing up of customer concerns
Conveying estimated costs and obtaining approval of repairs
Tracking repair progress and communicating with customers
Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction
Performing any additional task assigned by management

Automotive Service Advisor / Writer Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills
Verifiable high Customer Satisfaction Scores and history
Professional appearance
Positive attitude
Strong automotive knowledge or previous automotive related experience
Ability to manage a team of technicians
Ability to create estimates, and sell required work
Understand Warranty Coverages
Commitment to be a team player
Clean driving record
Dealership Experience if at least 3-5 years preferred
FCA/Stallantis Training or Experience preferred
Wiadvsior Knowledge a Plus
CDK Experience a Plus
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

-Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
-Test drive vehicles and test components and systems usine diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
-Diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission,electrical,steering, suspension,brakes,air conditioning.
-Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
-Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualification:
-ASE certifications are ideal
-Strong Automotive background

Duties will include prepping vehicles with floormats, steering wheel covers, etc., parking cars to keep the service drive clear, valeting vehicles for pick-up, cleaning the rental fleet, and providing shuttle rides for customers.
