A lot of people don't understand what the Big 3 auto corporations were doing behind the scenes. They were paying large sums of money to essentially try to pass laws making it illegal for independent repair shops and home mechanics to repair their own vehicles. They were also trying to gate keep the computer programs needed to reprogram computer modules and also repair information. They wanted full control of the aftermarket repair industry, so people would be forced to use dealerships only. It would have destroyed a 90 billion dollar industry. Thankfully Donald J. Trump stopped them from doing it. For that I'm very happy.
