It’s time for a long over due update ☺️
First, we want to say thank you to all our customers. You have been amazing. As we close in on our 20th year, we are reflecting on how wonderful the support from all the surrounding communities has been. We have enjoyed taking care of you as you navigate the frustrations of collisions and windshield replacements.
A reminder that we are open by appointment only. We understand this can be frustrating for some but we are hopeful a quick phone continues to suffice getting the ball rolling for repairs. Mike is in the shop working but his office staff 😉 has reduced hours. Since the pandemic, much of our customer communication has become predominantly electronic so we continued on this path. We make every effort to be flexible with scheduling. We appreciate that our customers are happy to send photos of damage and empower us to work with your insurance companies to bring your vehicles to pre accident condition as quickly as possible. The local insurance agents have been fantastic to work with (thank you!)! We appreciate them taking care of our customers on their end and streamlining processes.
With the growth in the Ellendale community, we have experienced both positive and negative impacts. Unfortunately, we will need to make adjustments to accommodate some of the less desirable outcomes.
For self pay customers, a deposit will be required when parts are ordered. The number of jobs that have been quoted, agreed upon, parts ordered and scheduled to then no show is costing significant time, energy and money. We end up paying for parts, returning parts and scrambling to schedule other jobs in instead. We have never charged to write estimates but there has been a very large volume of requests without intentions of repairing. Historically, this has never been an issue but with the increase in requests, we will be evaluating best practices to support our business.
