Today with our dedicated staff of professionals we manufacture and distribute performance-racing products and provide machine services for engine components to customers worldwide from our location in Elkridge, Maryland. What we learn goes into everything we do, and we continue to develop new ways to improve our products to provide durable solutions that produce results for our customers. Red Shift Cam Design and Production, Developing CNC Ported Cylinder Heads, Big Bore Kits and Developing unique durable engine drive line parts to fit many Harley-Davidson based engines are machined in-house to ensure quality with maximum durability. For over 40 years we are grateful for the many customers and friends that have trusted Zipper’s Performance Products and look forward to continuing to serve the needs of the performance racing community for many years to come.

When installing a big-bore cylinder kit, it's very important to know your final piston deck height, so you can set the squish thickness properly.

Zipper's produces two versions of deck height tools, one for EV/TC engine with 3/8" studs, and a version for the M8 with 7/16" studs. The M8 tool allows you to check the deck height at various points on the piston, to avoid a curved dome if needed. This tool allows you to determine the exact height of your new assembly, so you can select the correct base / head gaskets for your build.

Zipper's deck height tools include additional parts to bolt the cylinder down in place, so it can't move during this measuring process.
