This had to be one of the cleanest almost 400,000-mile Tahoes any of us have ever laid eyes on. But even though she looked good, her owner was ready to give his tow pig the power it deserved.

We got with our friends at Nostalgic Auto Sales LLC and had them source us a very nice lower-mileage 6.0L to serve as the foundation. From there, we went all in.

✔️ Texas Speed CamShaft
✔️ New Pushrods
✔️ New Springs & Seals
✔️ Complete Reseal and Refresh

The result? We gained 150+hp over factory horsepower, a massive increase in towing capability, and fuel mileage that stayed the same—if not improved. Josh Lawson made this one feel as if we never touched it. That's what makes our team of guys top notch!

This old Chevy went from tired and worn out to an absolute workhorse that pulls hard, sounds great, and is ready for another few hundred thousand miles.

LSA Supercharger + Bolt Ons = Almost 600hp

What we do isn't just about building cars—it's about the memories they create and the stories they carry with the people behind the wheel.

A lot of you in the car community know Carl Smith and his ultra-clean, low-mileage F-Body. He's owned this car for quite some time, so when he trusted us to take it to the next level with a long list of upgrades, it meant a lot. Being trusted with a vehicle this nice is something we never take for granted.

Our F-Body specialist, Mike Hudick , gave this car exactly the treatment it deserved. The engine and transmission came out, everything was thoroughly cleaned, pressure washed, inspected, and refreshed. From there, Mike tore it down and rebuilt it with a brand-new custom camshaft, all the supporting mods, and a set of Frankenstein Cylinder Heads.

This car was already a head-turner before it rolled into our shop. Now? It's an absolute animal. The sound, the power, the attitude—everything about this F-Body hits harder. 🔥💪
Clean. Mean. And ready to make a whole new set of memories.

Carl picked this car up and did just that. He left our shop and got right on the road to hit the Hot Rod Power Tour! That's the level if trust we love that our customers have with us!! Getting pictures and updates really help put that much more of a smile on our faces!!

It almost felt criminal tearing apart a super low-mileage GTO, but after seeing what Adam Buntley turned it into, I'd do it all over again.

I tell my guys to forget the limits and let their imagination run wild, and Adam Buntley delivered in a big way. This thing is an absolute animal. The second you lay into the throttle, it hits like a freight train and never lets up. The crazy part? It still drives like a stock car until you decide it's time to wake it up.

This isn't just a modification—it's a complete transformation. The power, the drivability, the attitude... it checks every box.

Blower cars will always be my favorite builds because nothing else delivers this kind of punch.

With the amount of hours we put into our work every day, it's hard to find time for much else, especially social media. We stay focused on our customers and making sure every vehicle leaves our shop the right way. Because of that, posting updates has taken a back seat.

The truth is, we want people to see what we do and what we're all about. We take a lot of pride in our work, and your positive feedback is what pushes us to keep getting better. That's why I'm going to make it a point to start posting a lot more. I'm going to go back to the beginning and share some of the projects we've completed since we started, along with what we're working on now.

Building a business isn't easy. You learn what works and what doesn't through experience, mistakes, and hard lessons. Those lessons are what help a business grow and improve.
One thing many people don't see is how hard it is to find good employees. Finding people willing to do average work is easy. Finding people who truly care about quality, take pride in their work, and pay attention to details is much harder. But at the end of the day Mike Hudick , Adam Buntley, and myself are doing absolutely everything we can to do the best we can with what we have. We will have some more help soon, we just eant to make sure whoever we get is the right person for our team!!

Most importantly, I want to thank everyone who continues to support us. Whether you've trusted us with your vehicle, recommended us to a friend, or followed our journey, we appreciate it more than you know. Just know we're working every day to improve, deliver the highest quality work possible, and continue earning your trust. :::

Austin went out there and finished 2nd in his class, and he’s constantly representing our brand the right way — wearing our shirts, carrying our logo, and putting in the work every time he hits the water.

Keeping the younger car community alive is exactly what we’re about here at GreenLight Performance and Wiring !!!

Being able to help the younger crowd stay motivated and keep chasing their passion is something we take seriously. Cars, trucks, and hot rods deserve a future, and that future starts with the next generation of enthusiasts.

We absolutely love what we do, and we take a ton of pride in every build that comes through the shop. This one, just like the rest, got the full treatment. We pulled the whole driveline, pressure washed everything, rewrapped the entire engine harness, painted the manifolds with VHT, replaced all the corroded hardware, and really gave it the attention it needed — the kind of stuff most people never see, but absolutely matters here to us.

It sucks to see how many people do this type of work and completely throw quality out the window. That will never happen at our shop. Guaranteed!!!!

We went above and beyond on this car because this isn’t just another job to us. It’s about keeping a young enthusiast on the road and making sure they can enjoy this thing for years to come. I dont know about you but we think that’s what it’s all about. 🔥

We hope most won't settle when it comes to spending their money. Just because a shop tells you they can get it out quick, just understand with quick comes careless. I dont care what anyone says. Be patient because the time you save now will far surpass the time and headaches you will deal with when you have to get it fixed again!!
