Its April 19th and I wanted to show everyone what's on the schedule here at Mikes Classic Cars Elkhorn Ne. We have a rust free Idaho F250 Lariat that's coming apart to get an on frame restoration. It only has 77k miles on it so it will make a great driver for someone without the high cost of a frame off restoration. Runs and drives like new but will get all the cosmetics redone. It is a true black/ black lariat which is kinda rare according to the Marti report. Check out the pictures, cause when you see it next it WILL look much better. Stay tuned for more updates!

Well it's February 23 and I wanted to give everyone an update on my 1979 F250 crew cab. One year ago (February 25, 2025) we tore into this truck to give it a frame off restoration along with installing a new godzilla 7.3 and a 6R80 automatic transmission. We painted it Wimbledon white with the red and maroon interior. We sent it off today to have the exhaust installed . I will be debuting it at the Omaha World of Wheels in a week and a half . Come take a look at it there in person. No detail was left untouched. It turned out nice!! Come check it out and say hi to me there !

Happy New Year to everyone that follows us here on face book!!
Good news to report,
It's DONE!!
THE 1978 F250 that we tore down last August is complete! Almost 6 months to the day on a frame off restoration on this 12,000 actual miles, X water truck here at a local fire dept. This truck had no rust, super straight a solid and the engine purrs like it's new.
The new color is, Omaha Orange with the brown and plaid interior. I am really pleased how this one came out. I will be showing it at World of Wheels Omaha in March, and then plan to show it spring and summer unless it sells or we might even put it on Bring A Trailer in the spring. Enjoy looking at the pictures, and give us a call if you have any questions ! 402 289 9310.

Well , its December 10 and here is a little update.
The 1978 F250 is alive, well and heading for the exhaust shop today. We should have it back by the end of the week. Its about 95% completed. All that's left is a rear bumper, tuned and timing, some new lock out hubs, wet sand and buff and install the side pinstripes.
Stay tuned for further progress.

A little follow up on the 78 f250. We picked up the cab today at the paint shop and set it on the frame. Squared it up, tightened it down. Also installed the dash shell and dash pad. Now it's time for the Hushmat sound deadening in which we got half of the cab done before quitting time.
This build should come right along and we are all excited in the way it looks with the two tone roof.
Enjoy today pictures.
Stay tuned

Nov, 10th, 2025.
Another truck we tore apart back in August was the lime green 1978 custom f250. It was a local fire department water truck since new. It only has 12k mile since new. A frame off restoration, all new box, along with a color change from green to Omaha Orange with a Wimbledon white roof. We were able to retain most all the original parts, 400 engine, 4 speed trans and drive train. The interior is all new , and will be shown at a later date. Vintage air installed. All new springs and steering box. 33" nitto grappler tires, aluminum wheels etc. This one is going to be super nice as is all of of restorations. Stay tuned, and enjoy the pictures.
