What an experience it was building this car. Tons of custom fab work went into this one. To the untrained eye it may not seem like it but it will have anyone who knows these cars scratching their heads. Can’t wait to see it out in the wild!

Today’s PSA from Blue Ribbon Customs is about fuel lines!

If your fuel line goes from steel to rubber it should always have a barb. Never cut a line and just shove a hose over it.

Also, a kinked fuel line will dramatically reduce the amount of fuel getting to your engine and can cause catastrophic failures.

Lastly, it is a good idea to inspect your fuel system once a year and make sure the clamps are tight and the lines are in good working condition. Rubber fuel hoses have a tendency to harden and become brittle over time which can lead to fuel leaks or worse.

Congratulations to our friend Tim on winning FIRST PLACE at Chicago World of Wheels this weekend! Building this truck with Rob’s Auto Paint was quite the journey. We couldn’t be any happier with the results. Goes to show that hard work really does pay off!

Big news from Blue Ribbon Customs! We are expanding! Thanks to all of you for the support and business you have provided we have outgrown our shop. We have decided it’s best to DIVIDE AND CONQUER! All of your mechanical, fabrication and repair needs will now be taken care of at our new location in Delavan. All of your paint and body needs will be taken care of at our original location by Rob’s Auto Paint. Robby and I will continue to work together closely to ensure that all your classic and custom automotive needs are met. Make sure you give the new page a like and share and spread the word!
