ELCOHaulicSS Anonymous We are ELCOHaulicSS and this is a "support group" dedicated to the addicted fans of the El Camino!

ELCOHaulicSS Anonymous is an enthusiast-driven "support group" for the fans and owners of vehicles as unique as they are! This organization is dedicated to fueling the “addiction” to anything and everything related to preserving, restoring, modifying, and maintaining in order to keep the Chevrolet EL Camino/GMC Caballero/Sprint car-trucks on the road! ELCOHaulicSS Anonymous is an organization that

was assembled primarily to be an El Camino DIY Technical and Restoration Resource. The organization is currently 5th Generation El Camino-focused at this time, primarily due to the 5th Gen being where the majority of my personal experience originates. I've had my '83 for 30 years now, and none of it has been untouched by my own two hands. I’ve also somewhat recently acquired an ‘86, and have already done a large amount of troubleshooting and repairs on it, including getting it running better, as well as restoring some much of it to original condition. Additionally, I was a GM Technician for a few years in the late '90's, and have been some sort of technician for the majority of my adult life, from helicopters, to cars, to prototype and show-quality semi trucks. Hopefully, in the future as the organization grows, this resource will expand to cover the other generations and be of more valuable to owners of those era Camino's. El Camino background and year breaks are: First Gen: '59-'60; Second Gen: '64-'67; Third Gen: '68-'72; Fourth Gen: '73-'77; Fifth Gen: '78-'87. While the core principals remain somewhat universal across the model years, there are several unique differences between them. The organization can be considered an online resource for technical information and advice one might need while preparing for, or performing a repair, upgrade, or modification. ELCOHaulicSS Anonymous can also be considered as a source for materials, supplies, and even as a professional outlet for performing these services. Don’t be afraid to ask if you need an answer to help you solve a problem. Not everyone is a Master Technician, and we all started at the point where we didn't know anything. Let's help each other learn, and enjoy this passionate addiction, and keep more Elco's on the road! Looking for a Ground Effects Kit for your 5th Gen El Camino or Caballero?

Well, NOW you have a source for them that doesn't take internet gymnastics to find or has a "sketchy" online presence that looks like a scam!

As most of us with 5th Gen ELCOs know, the sources for these things are few and far between. The ones that "used" to make them we all remember are long gone away. The ones that currently "might" don't really have much of a trustworthy internet presence that begs you to deal with them...IF you can even find them at all.

ELCOHaulicSS Anonymous is introducing the "ELCO-SSFx" 6-Piece Ground Effects Kit for 5th Gen ('78-87) El Caminos and Caballeros!

Taking parts from both of my ELCOs with old Ground Effects kits, combining them, 'tweaking' them a bit with some improvements, and investing some $$$$ to have molds made in order to fill a void in the market, we're offering up this new 6-Piece Ground Effects Kit!

The parts are hand-laid by a professional fiberglass technician in Michigan one kit at a time, by special-order. The parts are constructed out of chopped-strand mat and Isophthalic marine-grade resins, PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA!

All of the kit pieces are a bit thicker than most previously available kits and also have a bit of extra material on them in the important areas so you can custom-fit them to your truck because each truck is a little different.

Shipping costs or methods can currently be determined before ordering by contacting us directly through our website. By far the most economical option at this time would be to coordinate a local pick up, but we can certainly explore shipping options for additional costs.

Well...now that we've had a couple of days to rest up, we can say that Episode 5 of the "ALL-EL Camino MEGA-Show" - ELCOFest '26 is a wrap!

It was a very damp yet still successful show day in spite of attendance being a little down due to that ridiculous forecast... five beautiful days of sun leading up to the show, sprinkles Friday night for the Ride to Real cruise, and steady light rain for a couple of hours on Saturday morning...and now sunshine since Sunday morning...🙄 That's August in Indiana for you...

But thankfully, it held off for most of the early morning during setup and broke after noon to give us another decent day! All in all, it could have been a lot worse...thankfully no lightning this year!

We made the best of it, and everyone seemed to have another great time this year with a total of 85 ELCOs and their GMC cousins on the property for another one-of-a-kind show!

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who ponied up and came out with their trucks and didn't let a little rain spoil the fun, as well as our amazing volunteer staff that made it work even with the tents trying to soak everyone standing in line to check in and buy merchandise! The show couldn't go on without you!

SouthGate Crossing was very well-received as the new venue for the show and worked out very well for us! Feedback has been very positive, and they do want us to return in the future!

We'll be posting up show coverage pics here and there once we get them sorted out and back from the photographer so be sure to stay tuned here and on ELCOFest.com!
