As undercoaters, we’ll honestly tell you that you should stay away from any of those “lifetime” or “permanent” rubberized & tar based undercoatings like Ziebart, POR-15 or bedliner that the factory or dealerships offer as they just trap rust & fall apart after a couple years being in the elements.
We only recommend lanolin oil based undercoatings like Fluid Film, WoolWax or Surface Shield as the oil not only repels water, salt, & brine but also acts as a penetrating oil that breaks down any existing corrosion!

We ended up undercoating this ‘93 Grand Cherokee with Fluid Film black just like we did the same time last year. We checked to see if our coating from last year held up & were pleasantly surprised to see how well it lasted after a year of being in the elements !
This goes to show that Fluid Film does work & is a proven rust inhibitor & protectant.

A couple days ago, Jeff wanted us to undercoat his ‘18 Ram 2500 with Fluid Film Black before the winter.
While this truck has very low mileage, it had regularly been used as a plow truck in winter so corrosion was starting to show. However, this truck was still very savable & we were able to undercoat it with ease!

The weather’s only getting nicer so it only makes sense that we just did our first detailing job of the year!
In this case, Jane decided that she wanted us to do a deep clean & detail on her 2016 LaCrosse for her 87th birthday as it hadn’t had one since she bought it new off the dealer lot.
Needless to say, we delivered & once the job was done she couldn’t believe it was the same car & swore it looked showroom new!
