I suppose if you were to compare the OG Jeep in a Box to today’s JLU Rubicon the differences are every bit as striking. We were having a conversation the other day about sand rails, how they started out as home built frames and modified VW bugs, then eventually evolved into twin turbo quarter of a million dollar sand cars. The offroad works is constantly evolving. Heres how far the RZR came in less than 20 years. Who knows what the next 20 will see?

Before, during, and after. This beautiful Solitude came all the way to us from Moses Lake after a slideout mishap. We were able to rebuild everything, installed new flooring, and even gave it an Apex Lifetime RV roof too. Now she’s ready for her owners to get back out there and make memories.

Guess it’s about time I introduce the new shop car. The X3 found a new home, replaced with a 2026 Pro R. We took her for a break-in ride up Denver Creek the first weekend and even on the small tires she did amazing. I am a little jealous of the big screen and the stability and crawl-ability of this car stock. First few mods are Chupacabra mirrors (side and rear view), windshield, and trying out the System 3 RC500s (compared to the Zillas and the 350s that I’m still sporting on the Turbo S). And of course the front sway bar went bye-bye.

Got in a Turbo S this week with some clutch issues. It seemed a little off but nothing drastic. When we pulled the primary it was definitely in need of some serious help. We replaced the clutch housing with a full billet primary and had intentions of transferring the weights/weight arms/spring from the old primary. Unfortunately the old weight arms had a lot of play and the bushings in them were non-existent. Luckily we had a set on the shelf from Ibexx which we were able to use. After a little tuning she’s running out smooth and ready to rip.

Update on the rodent roof. Got all the trusses rebuild, new insulation, new decking, and a lifetime maintenance free rv roof installed. This rv is heading back to the great outdoors more solid than ever and ready for adventure. (Yes we did put the AC back on first)

You don’t always know what you’re getting into. Had an rv come in the shop last week with a damaged roof. A large part of the decking was damaged so it was a full tear off. Found evidence of an entire mouse colony living up there and one resident still at home. We removed all the insulation and thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the entire roof before starting the rebuild. Even minor damage can cause major issues. Let us help you keep up on your annual maintenance and seal work or if you do have damage we’d love to fix it before it becomes a major problem.
