🎭 Volunteer Day at the Theatre! 🛠️

We’re rolling up our sleeves and giving our set & costume house some much-needed TLC—and we could use your help!

📅 Date: April 26
⏰ Time: Starting at 9:00 AM
📍 What: Removing, sorting, and organizing sets and costumes to place into temporary storage while repairs are made.
🙌 Come & Go: Stay for an hour or the whole day—any help makes a difference!

This is a great opportunity for community service or NHS volunteer hours, and a fun way to support your local theatre behind the scenes.

Bring a friend, wear comfortable clothes, and get ready to help us keep the magic alive! 🎭✨

🚨 THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE: LAKE LUGERT DRAINAGE BEGINS 🚨
It’s the news we’ve been waiting for—and some of you have been dreading! Massive pumps and construction crews have officially arrived at the boat ramp to begin the Lake Lugert Permanent Drainage & Dredging Project. As of this morning, phase one is underway to pull the plug and empty the lake entirely. State officials say the goal is to "start from scratch," citing a need to find all the lost fishing tackle and sunglasses dropped since 1947.

PROJECT UPDATE: Chief Engineer A.P. Rilfools noted that once the lake is bone-dry, they plan to refill it with a newly engineered, synthetic "dry-touch" water. This revolutionary liquid is designed to feel significantly less wet, ensuring you can go for a mid-day swim and hop right back into your truck without ever needing a towel.
