Delivery of the Day....upfit of a Vanair Air-N-Arc 330D, self-contained 10kW generator, air compressor and welder on a WSSC utility truck. Installation included mounting the unit above a custom enclosure at the front of the open bed area with ReelCraft utility air and welding cable reels installed below.

Delivery of the Day! The first of many new M&O units for Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC). These trucks feature Vanair GenAir PTO compressor/generator systems, Vanair BTL-500 electric tool lift, Hannay 200' 12/3 cable reel, ROM roll-up doors with power door locks, Whelen scene and warning light package, ECCO Hi-Viz warning lights, 2,500 watt inverter, dual ReelCraft 100' utility air reels, Verity quad camera system, custom equipment storage, and much more! WSSC is one of Swab Wagon Company's oldest customers, having purchased their first trucks in the mid-1940's. Thank you WSSC for your fantastic business all these years!

You never know what's going to show up at Swab Wagon Co. When I was told this was the only Studebaker Avanti sold by Swab's, I immediately knew the car, and I can't believe it's back on the road! Purchased new by "Turtle" Grosser in 1963, his nephew, Jeff Grosser,, just completed a three year restoration. I remember riding the school bus and seeing this white sports car body, reposing in the woods on the Grosser property. Mike had told me that was the only Studebaker Avanti we ever sold. It's also to be noted it's an R2 (supercharged 289 V8) variant with a 4-speed manual transmission! A very rare and desirable car. Congratulations on your project, Jeff, and thanks for sharing it with us!

Fire Expo. 2026! Come see us today and tomorrow in the center of the Expo. Hall! A huge THANK YOU to the Chemical Fire Company of Lebanon, PA, and Rayburn Twp. V.F.D. of Kittanning, PA, for use of their trucks for the show. Our 1963 SAB-9 ambulance, Baltimore F.D. No.6, also came out for the show.

These upfits entail construction of under-body compartment boxes, Whelen scene and emergency lighting package, Whelen CORE siren/switch controllers, Kussmaul Auto-Eject and Chief 40-AMP battery charger, Safety Vision camera system, Carefree powered awning, custom lettering and striping, and more!
