It’s funny that I’m on the phone all day and the only concern people seem to have is cost. You need to change your mindset. The cost to perform a service or repair is a factor, I get it… times are tough. Times are tough for a lot of businesses too, try running an automotive shop in California and I’ll show you REAL expenses. You should be making these decisions based on VALUE… not just cost. Your car is no doubt an important investment to you… do you really want the guy with the cheapest price working on it? Here’s an example of what your valve cover bolt that can’t be reached to repair without removing the engine from the car might look like if you make decisions based on cost alone. You can save a couple bucks today and cost yourself a few thousand dollars down the road by pinching the budget. Just pick a shop that you can actually trust who doesn’t do things like this…. Stick with them…. Pay them what they decided it costs to be successful because you probably want them to be there when you need them. Our prices are WAY better than the dealership. We do not compete on price with other shops… competing on price is a race to the bottom for both businesses and consumers and poor work is your end result. Make better decisions. Protect your investment, find someone who does a good job and stands behind their work… pay them what they are worth…. Have a better car at the end of the day. This works for any asset… not just cars. Good choices get good results. Cheap choices get cheap results. Carry on!
