From Dance Camp to Race Track, and just barely making check in and drivers meeting this past Saturday at Barona Speedway.

SoCal Lightning Sprints ran topless Saturday.

Started 6th for the heat race and finished 6th. Started 11th and finished 10th in the main. Focusing on consistency this week and staying with the class. All in all not to bad. Even moved up to 8th in points for the season.

Next Race for me is Sept 12 at Barona Speedway where we’ll be wingless again.

It’s been a few busy crazy weeks…

Today’s race is wingless and I’m ready to give it my all. Car has been ready and loaded since Thursday!!
Why you ask? With the start of school this week and my commitment to El Cap Dance Company I have Dance Camp today and then headed to track! Two if my favorite things all in one day!!!

Let’s do this! 💃🏼 🏎️

Here’s A late recap: Raced two weeks ago at Barona. 1st race since my slow roll over in Lightning Sprint. Getting on the track was the shake down of car. Hot laps not so good, chain tensioner came loose. Easy fix and ready for the heat race. Started 3rd Finished 3rd for my heat race. Car was a little tight however was advised to leave set up as is for the main. Started 9th in the main finish 12th. Ok with that. I noticed the handling better middle to end of the race. Lap times although not consistent I learned alot with this slight setup change.

Also celebrated besties birthday 🎂 and his company picnic … 😮

I really want to send a HUGE SHOUTOUT to my sponsors, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be going to the track today!!!
