2016 Silverado 5.3 A6 back with some more mods (Nick Willam’s 103 Throttle body and custom 4” intake.)

Customer started having really bad cold start issues around a year ago. This was solved with a new throttle body (all the customer did was bolt on the NW103 and fixed it immediately) These generation of trucks are having more and more weak throttle body issues.

Whipple Superchargers 3.0 whipple on this truck since mid 2023 with a Brian Tooley Racing stage 1 PDS cam.

I’ve been getting quite a few messages lately from customers whose vehicles I tuned anywhere from 6 months to 6 years ago, saying things like “my check engine light is on” — with no other information.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t help me diagnose or assist you in any way.

If you can provide the DTC (diagnostic trouble code) number, that actually does help.

For anyone with a modified vehicle, I strongly recommend picking up a simple code reader — they cost around $30 and are a must-have for your modded vehicle.
