We Bought the Cheapest BMW M Car in the Country?!

Picked up this E36 M3 for $800 and now we’re trying to figure out what we should actually do with it 😂

It’s a 1998 M3 coupe, S52, manual, Boston Green with the Magma Vader interior. Pretty crazy spec for an $800 car.

Do we restore it and bring it back to how it should be, LS swap it and make it stupid, or just clean it up and sell it?

What would you guys do with it? 👀

Working on cars can be a lot more in depth than you’d expect. Sometimes the actual repair is the easy part, it’s getting to it that takes all the work.

Manufacturers love putting parts in the most hidden, hard to reach places possible, which can mean removing half the stuff around it just to gain access. What looks like a simple job from the outside can quickly turn into hours of disassembly, careful organization, and putting everything back together the right way.

It’s all part of the process. Sometimes you’ve gotta take half the car apart just to replace or modify one part 😂

Shop update!😅 We’ve got four techs constantly knocking cars out and keeping the lifts full. Here’s just a few of the recent projects that have been through the shop from R8s, M3s and M4s to Audis, Porsches and McLarens. Whether it’s maintenance, repairs, performance upgrades or a full build, there’s always something going on around here. We appreciate everyone who continues to trust us with their cars and keeps the shop busy.

Euro Rally 2026 was a special one. 🇪🇺🏁

This year the entire SPEEDhaus crew was able to make the trip, along with some good friends, bringing just about every type of build with us.

M4, M3, M5, X5M, an E91 wagon towing a jet ski… and somehow even the white car made the trip. Who would’ve thought 😂

Good cars, better people, and one hell of a weekend in Arkansas. This is what it’s all about.
