Axcel Off-Road & Performance is looking for an experienced Automotive / Off-Road Technician to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced technician who can work independently, diagnose problems correctly, produce quality work, and turn hours consistently.

WHAT WE DO

We are a full-service automotive and off-road shop. Our work includes:

General automotive service and repair
Diagnostics
Steering and suspension
Lift kits and aftermarket suspension
Wheels and tires
Bumpers, winches, lighting and accessories
Differential and axle repair
Re-gearing
Drivetrain work
Custom fabrication
Jeep, truck and 4x4 builds

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with professional shop experience who is capable of completing jobs with minimal supervision.

The right technician should:

Have strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
Be comfortable with general automotive service and repair
Understand steering and suspension systems
Be able to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts
Be comfortable working on modified vehicles
Follow proper torque specifications and service procedures
Work efficiently without sacrificing quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate well with the rest of the shop
Have their own professional hand tools
Have a valid driver’s license

Experience with Jeeps, trucks, 4x4s, lift kits, differential setup/re-gearing, welding and fabrication is a major plus.

PAY

Paid weekly

$1,000 for the first 12 billable hours each week
+ $35 for every billable hour over 12

Weekly examples:

20 billable hours — $1,280/week
30 billable hours — $1,630/week
40 billable hours — $1,980/week
50 billable hours — $2,330/week
60 billable hours — $2,680/week

A productive technician who consistently bills 40 hours per week would earn approximately $102,960 annually before taxes, based on 52 weeks.

Brought in Sq**rt to get some Axcel Off-Road & Performance love before heading to we served axels, changed all fluids, replaced intake manifold gaskets, oil pan gaskets, transmission service, mounted beadlock wheels, replaced tie rod ends, and of course we had to top it off with some diff covers! At the same time, they are juggling work and responsibilities outside those hospital walls. It’s not easy. But through it all, their support system has stepped in to help carry the weight and provide even the smallest moments of relief and comfort during an incredibly overwhelming time.
