Earlier this week we shared a Jeep with braking issues, and hereโ€™s what we found! ๐Ÿ”

The brake caliper was pushed against the rotor due to an axle shift, which led us to inspect the differential. Inside, we found severe damage to the spider gears and seized components requiring a full rear-end repair.

This is where our process matters, documenting everything with photos and diagnostics to help get extended warranty approvals.

This 11th gen Honda Accord came in for a second opinion on a head gasket concern ๐Ÿ”ง

Unfortunately, the 1.5L turbo Honda engines have become pretty well known for head gasket issues, whether the vehicle is modified or completely stock. Thereโ€™s a lot of discussion around why it happens, from cylinder pressure and engine design to the factory head bolts themselves.

In fact, some aftermarket companies like ARP do offer upgraded head studs/bolts as a preventative measure!

In this video, our tech walks through part of the diagnostic ๐Ÿ”ง process and shows how we determine whether an ignition coil is failing. In this case, the faulty coil was the source of the issue and causing the engine to run rough.

Diagnostics are all about taking the right steps before replacing parts, and making sure the root cause gets identified correctly.
