The beast is out and headed home.

This is the Chevy K60 that we moved the differential forward, cut the frame, relocated, all the air, brakes, drilled and bolted, the suspension built, a subframe for the bed, welded in and put all lights in. This was a real blast. We have really enjoyed being part of this story.

Well…. Another conversion completed. A big shout out and a thank you to our customer Jack Johnson for trusting us to give his 30-year love affair a makeover. What a beauty, she turned out to be. Here she is, before and after:

This is our project nicknamed Big Red. This is a frame up 1987 short bed 4x4 Silverado build. All new interior, new sheet metal all over. New door, hinges, Seals, sweeps, and felts. 454 big block with Holly sniper system. (it was begging for a big block). She is getting built now, and just waiting for her new forever home to drop a deposit on her. Customer work has kept us busy so it has been slow going, but we are at the point where I am going to start posting some regular updates.

Well… we finally found a Rollback that speaks to us. This old girl is going to be the most beloved SquareBody rollback that was ever here. It’s a 1977 round eye square body and has a beautiful old school super heavy aluminum bed.  keep an eye out for updates as we build this old girl and put her back to work.

Update on the 1977 International Scout II (Terra or Traveler 118” wheelbase). Well…. She is running good and has all new floorboards, body mounting points, body stiffeners, rubber body mounts, new brakes, front and rear, new brake cables, and the list goes on and on. Her momma wants her dressed up so we are tearing this old girl down for paint. 6772 Gacier Blue (pricey and hard to find).  all new sheet metal for the rear quarters is on the way here from California.
