Don’t make the same mistakes as this customer did. Some may not know this but the aftermarket sells replacement lug nuts made for OEM style wheels and for aftermarket style wheels. The difference is in the seat area of the lug nut made for aftermarket wheels which is much smaller on the left compared to the broad seat area of the OEM style wheels on the right. These two styles are not compatible and should not be used as this affects the clamp load on the wheel and of course lug nut retention. Ford Motor Company
