⚡️ Wire Comparison ⚡️

I was going through some extra wire today and thought this would make for an interesting comparison.

All three of these are 1/0 OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) power wire, but you can clearly see the differences in strand count, strand size, and overall twist.

🔹 Sky High Car Audio – Larger strand size with a heavier twist.
🔹 DS18 – Medium strand size and twist.
🔹 PRV Audio – Smaller strand size with a finer twist.

This post isn’t about saying one is better than another. Every manufacturer has its own design philosophy, and there are a lot of factors that go into choosing wire besides how it looks once it’s stripped.

I just thought it was cool to see the differences side by side and figured some of you would too.

Another fun project has officially begun! 💪

This truck is getting a small stunt wall built using PRV Audio equipment, and we’re excited to bring this one to life.

Right now we’re laying everything out, planning the equipment placement, and making sure every component has a clean, organized home before the final assembly begins.

We believe a clean install starts long before the panels go back together. Taking the time to plan the layout and wiring helps create a system that’s reliable, serviceable, and built to perform.
