💭 A little Tuesday motivation from a can of primer…

Life can be a lot like this can of 2K primer after it’s been sitting on the shelf too long.

Leave it alone long enough and everything starts separating, settling, getting thick, and eventually turning into something that takes a whole lot more work to straighten back out.

Sometimes life needs a little preventative maintenance too.

You’ve got to keep stirring s**t up. Keep moving. Keep working on yourself. Keep checking in on your family, your business, your goals, your relationships and the things that matter to you.

Maintenance isn’t always exciting, and sometimes it feels like nothing is happening. But staying on top of the little things is a hell of a lot easier than waiting until everything gets hardened, clumped together and damn near impossible to fix.

So today’s reminder is simple:

Don’t let yourself sit on the shelf too long.

Mix things up. Make adjustments. Keep moving forward. Take care of what matters while it’s still easy to take care of.

A little maintenance today can save you a whole lot of rebuilding tomorrow. 💪

⚡️ POWER MATTERS. ⚡️

Big shoutout and thank you to Limitless Lithium for the love and for sharing the cherry bomb 🍒💣 🙏🔋

When you’re building something that demands this kind of power, the electrical system isn’t the place I want to cut corners. I’m proud to have Limitless Lithium handling the reserve power behind this build.

There are plenty of good products in this industry and everybody has their own preference, but for me, I want equipment I can have confidence in when it’s time to turn everything up. 💪🔊

Definitely cool seeing the truck (🍒💣) getting some recognition, and I appreciate everyone who has been involved with this build along the way.

🔥 COMPETITION BAGGER BUILD — PETE’S BIKE 🔥

We’re getting ready to kick off another project here at Elite Tinting & Audio, and this one is going to be a fun one.

We’ll be building a competition-style bagger for my buddy Pete, and this is going to be a serious project from start to finish. We’re excited to see this bike come together and turn into something special. 🏍️💪

Here’s what we have locked in so far:

We’re still finalizing the rest of the build, so we’re keeping the audio equipment and other details under wraps until everything is officially locked in.

🔥 SHOP FLOW — GETTING READY FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND 🔥

We’ve got a few different projects moving through Elite Tinting & Audio right now, and the shop is staying busy. 💪

🏁 Honda Talon
One of our good clients is getting his Talon ready to enjoy the upcoming Labor Day weekend. We’ll be adding four more speakers, another amplifier, and a custom subwoofer enclosure, with the possibility of adding a little more lighting while we’ve got it here. 🔊💡

⚡ CMax Battery Bank
We’re also going through a CMax bank for one of our basshead friends. This one came in with one of the 14.8V PCB setups on it. The issue isn’t that 14.8 volts is too high — it’s actually too low for the intended state of charge of this type of lithium battery bank. This style lithium bank is typically considered fully charged around 16.8 volts, or approximately 4.5 volts per cell, while 14.8 volts is closer to a partially discharged state. ( I realize in the video I said 5.4 when I meant to say 4.5 on each segment that we were charging up to.)

Running the bank at that lower voltage can leave capacity and performance on the table, especially in a high-demand audio system. We’re getting this one gone through and set up properly so the bank can operate within the appropriate voltage range and state of charge.

🚂 HornBlasters Rebuild
We’ve also got a HornBlasters train horn setup apart for a Dodge Ram. The mount is being cleaned and sanded down now, then it’ll get a fresh coat of wrinkle paint before everything is reassembled and goes back into the truck with fresh wiring.

Different projects, different goals — same attention to detail.

🟡 PROJECT S10 UPDATE 🟡

The little yellow S10 Blazer is starting to come together piece by piece. 🔊💪

We’ve got the upper brace finished, the baffle locked into place, and we’re now working through the side panels to get everything solidified and tied together.

We’re also working on a design for the roof section so it flows with the rest of the enclosure and looks like one complete working unit instead of a bunch of separate pieces. That’s the goal with this build — make everything work together both structurally and visually.

A lot of the wiring is already handled as well:

🔊 Speaker wire
🔧 Main routing and prep work

Still plenty left to do, but we’re making steady progress and getting closer to seeing this whole thing come together.

Got a couple fun ones in the shop today getting some audio love. 🔊

The side-by-side is getting upgraded with wake tower speakers, and the bike is in for some speaker upgrades of its own.

Different rides, same goal — make them sound better and enjoy them even more. 💪🎶

We love getting a mix of projects through the doors, and today definitely has that motorsports vibe.

Finally finished and looking GREAT! 🔥☀️

We wrapped up this Florida room for one of our longtime customers with EDGE Ultra View 5% window film, and the finished product came out awesome!

With this much glass, the Florida sun can absolutely cook a room. The 5% film gives it that clean, uniform look while helping cut down on heat, glare and UV exposure — making the space much more comfortable and enjoyable.
