Paul Steinborn is at the MCA Grand Nationals in Virginia with his Black 65 K Code GT convertible.....judges only saw perfection and studied it for a few hours. Hopefully this does not turn out to be a "who you know " deal. The car is beautiful.

We got a Gold winner from the Boss Nationals....Mr Paul Steinborn. Class was Concourse Trailered.

Absolutely enjoyed my day in Moline, IL at the Boss Nationals. I think I got caught up with everyone! So many great cars to see, but it made my day to see Paul's Boss 351 and I only gave it a lite check over....no need.
Then Larry and Paul hit the floor and checked out what was under the hoods. My favorite was the original Cobra..
Will there be another show there? I don't know ...you gotta have the cars to show. It's a great place. !

Paul won GOLD at the MCA National Show in West Chester, OH. Today !

It was that Black 65 Mustang Convert.
and Paul said it was extemely popular with the crowd. ! He will send me a show pic when he gets home.

Paul made time to come over to work with me on the restoration of his 69 Mach I R code, hit the Jefferson Swap which we did really good at and visit our car buddy Frank .
As for the work on the Mach, Paul and I are meticulous planners and doing it right and reviewing and making notes is vital. I keep a ledger and update nightly. I take pictures of the car and my bodywork that I send to Paul to see where I'm at on his high- end show car quality restoration . Here's what it looks like now.

My next challenge is of course a.... Paul Steinborn car. It will be another Nat'l Show winner no doubt. We got a 69 428...
