This Ford F-150 came to us fresh from a local Ford dealership and let’s just say, we’ve seen a lot of these issues over the years, but this was new one.

Someone had poured transmission fluid into the washer fluid reservoir, turning a simple oil change visit into a much bigger (and messier) problem.

The customer mentioned they normally go elsewhere for oil changes, and naturally, the shop listed on the sticker got the blame. But after some digging, it was clear something wasn’t adding up.

Unfortunately, not everyone in the industry has your best interest at heart. Some are just looking for another way to make a quick dollar even at your expense.

Our advice: Be very careful where you take your vehicle. Mistakes like this can lead to costly damage and headaches down the road
