As early voting kicks of this week, I encourage each of you to get out and vote! Be part of the process of what makes our country so great!

As for those in District 3 in Putnam County, I strongly encourage you to do your homework on potential candidates and make an informed decision. While one claims real job creation, managed growth, strategic partnerships, cutting red tape, and investing in our waterfront assets, HER actions show a completely different history.

Below is a Putnam County zoning Compliant numbered Build 2021-0064 stating that boats were launched on ramp by an owner and that the owner was a customer and not a patron.

The reality is this was a brand new Chaparral boat purchased here locally at Crowe Marine for Anchors Marina's rental fleet attached to Josh Sprayberry's truck.... This was one of many instances that lead to over 12 criminal charges of who uses a boat ramp to a public lake and if a trailer parked in a parking space for more than one day is considered long term storage.

If she will come after my business, she will likely treat you the same way! All of this behavior is AFTER signing settlement agreements to cease and desist and consent orders ISSUED BY A JUDGE!

As the sun is rising this sunny Saturday morning, I’m overwhelmed with joy looking back at the past FIVE years, and how quickly they have flown by!

I think back to my child growing up going to the lake, and the occasional “sick” day to go fishing with my dad or brother. I’m remember how it felt to drive the boat like Alan Jackson sings about.

I remember the first lakehouse I ever spent the night was here in Putnam County GA. I thought what a dream to be able to afford a place like this, and one day I’d work hard enough to be able to have a place like that of my own. I remember my first boat ride to dinner was at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee.

I remember one of my childhood friends “telling me to man up” when it came to buying a lake house and 8 months later we bought our lot here at Reynolds Lake Oconee.

As Lauren King Sprayberry and I have made Visit Eatonton our forever home, we’ve both spent our youth on the shores of this lake going back to the 90’s, and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Looking back over these photos highlights some of the best times of my life and some of my biggest challenges. While there were a lot of big smiles there have been equally amounts of sleepless nights! As Kirby says, “pressure is a privilege,” and I wake up most mornings pretty early to ensure my employees can take care of their families and we can make a difference in our little world.

Sometimes what our community needs is a reminder of how special our backyard truly is
at the lake, and don’t be fooled by those that constantly promote negativity in our community. Don’t be fooled by their attempts to “save the cove” and stop small businesses owners from making positive impacts in their communities. Stand beside those that our making significant investments into our community to carry us forward into the future!

Thank you to all those that have played a major role in Anchors Marina success story. We look forward to swapping winter coats for swimsuits here soon! 😎🦺👙🎣🏄‍♂️⛵️🚤🌅
