And this is why we always recommend an annual physical. While setting the overhead on a customer unit, we found this camshaft beginning to separate. We removed and replaced camshaft and rockers, saving our customer a more much costly 💵 repair down the road!

Diesel Mechanic Technicians

Hislop Diesel Repair LLC is a small truck repair shop in Easton, MN. We are fast-paced, rewarding, collaborative and our goal is to provide trusted and dependable service to our neighboring customers. Hislop Diesel Repair provides diagnostic and repair services to diesel engine systems as well as truck, trailer, tire service and repair, and DOT inspections. Repairs and maintenance items range to include: running diagnostic tests on vehicles, repairing or replacing the vehicles’ engine, transmission, steering mechanism or braking system, performing oil changes and other PM services, tire repair and replacement and test driving the vehicle to determine if maintenance issue was properly fixed.

Our Diesel Mechanics collaborate with other repair team members to ensure a vehicle is safely and efficiently operating to the owner’s and/or driver’s needs.
