These are the seats from the Fitch Phoenix. I was asked to see if I could repair them BUT preserve as many of the original materials as possible

The white inserts were deconstructed and repaired and were able to be used. The black leather and stitching throughout the rest of the seats was not savable.

The seat frames got media blasted and painted and some springs were replaced. The foam was repaired and the old leather was used to make new patterns on fresh leather.

I was happy to hear that the car won at Amelia Island this year in a class with other one of one cars.

Very honored to help preserve a piece of automotive history.

This is an oil tank for a 1930's 8C Alfa Romeo. It needed to be opened up and have the input and output connections modified. Got it figured out and soldered back together. Fixed a few leaks after pressure testing and got it back in the customers hands.

Re upholstered a front bench seat for a 1966 Studebaker Wagonair. The customer supplied the material and there was enough of the original seat left to make good patterns. Had to replace some of the padding inside because it wasn't usable.

I was asked if I could fabricate a sign for a new bake shop opening in Canton Ct. Having worked in the sign industry for a few years, I gladly jumped at the chance to help out a good friends wife, who is fulfilling a dream of opening her own place.

The faces were lazer cut from stainless steel and then I began the process of shaping, welding, and metalfinishing the returns to the back of the faces to create a housing for the white LED lights.

Clear polycarbonate inner structure provides the platform for the lights and the mounting hardware, so the sign looks like is floating on the wall. All the wiring is hidden behind the shapes.

Grand opening is soon.

Highly recommend going and getting some sweet treats. Check out

The coolant and oil got a little to friendy....
Plugged the holes and installed a new head gasket. Filled the block with water and put 35 psi on it. 3 of the cylinder sleeves have repair sleeves. Thought for sure that was going to be the cause of the coolant in the oil but it isnt leaking. It is possible operating temp opens up a crack
More tests to come.

Dashboard restoration in a 68 Alfa Romeo GT Junior. The dashes were made of some kind of thick press board, molded into the shape. Over time moisture and heat cycles soften the material and it causes the outer finish to crack.

This dash was stripped of all its parts, glove box removed, and completely coated with fiberglass resin, inside and out to seal and harden it. It was epoxy primed and bodyworked with fiberglass reinforced filler.

The gauges were disassembled, cleaned, bezels were painted with new base clear to resemble the original anodize, and reassembled. All chrome trim was polished.

The surface of the dash has multiple coats of clear applied with almost no pressure in the gun to give it the desired texture.

While the dash was out, the heater box also got a full refresh and the entire firewall got sound deadening material. The inside of the glove box received new flocking as well.

Another car that gets lots of use....now it will be enjoyed even more.

This truck has been patiently waiting for its turn. There is a decent list including repair of the electric overdrive, leaking rear main seal, clutch inspection, engine bay detailing, installation of a backdated grill, and a once over of a bunch of small details that will give it a nicer driving experience. The owner enjoys the truck year round. It currently has studded snow tires on it!!!! Driving it because he loves driving it.

Made new sun visors for this 1958 maserati 3500
The original blue-purple ones were crazed. Crazing is the formation of small internal cracks, usually from aging in acrylic. The green was chosen to add some pop compared to the dull color of the old ones.

Created some new door panels with pockets for a pre war Alfa Romeo. Photos from an original car provided the direction. The inside of the pocket is lined with leather and there are no visible stitches, similar to the original.
