If you didn't feel old you should now. 26 years! That is how long it's been since I did the last install for this friend. First photo was then. The rest are now. New head unit, w/backup camera & Android auto, wired in the integrated reverse light on the side mirrors, rehabilitated the amp installation, and got things tuned.

I present the fully rehabbed GMC. Italian cuisine is gone. New radio harness integrated. Allowing factory wiring to be used properly. Previous owner had center speaker panel built between the seats so that is wired in correctly now also. Speakers were mismatched and got those reconfigured so that crossover points could be properly utilized. Even got the upgraded factory power drivers seat operational. Other than having to order the proper Alpine bypass module (which he came back to have installed) the work went as best it could. The result is a fully functional audio system and a great foundation to upgrade from later.

2006 GMC standard cab short box. Came in with the Olive Garden special from previous owner(s). Butchered factory wiring, self tapping ground points, CCA wire, electrical tape taped wire joints. This had is all and some new things I hadn't seen before. Here are the before pictures. So many more then I can put in a single post. Here are the low lights of it all.

The last episode of the 62 Impala build. RetroSounds I can't say your dual 3.5 plate is correct. However I made it work. Modified the existing aftermarket kick panels to house the components the customer requested. Built a simple amp board with all the wiring being service looped as this is possibly not the final rendition. Yet the job must be proper. Dual 12 sealed enclosure fitted in the rear passenger quarter.

62 Impala corrected wiring. Kind of the original photos from a couple days ago....just better this time. 0ga big3 with proper wire terminations. Modern OEM style dash audio harness and radio power connector. Everything is now serviceable if needed. Soldered, crimped, zipped, wrapped, and heat shrunk appropriately.

1962 Impala SS drop top in for some much needed attention. From wire nuts to electrical tape covered connections. Bread ties to zip ties with no cut excess. Large gauge wire jammed in terminals that the reducer could have just been removed and it would have fit proper. Even a double stacked speaker set up.....just in one kick panel. I saw all 64 years of this cars history in the last week plus. Here are a few pictures of the tear down.

2009 Camry in for a full speaker replacement. Premium JBL amp had to be minorly reconfigured. So a jumper harness was built to operate things closer to the proper ohm and frequency ranges.

My pursuit of perfection both in aesthetics and function hit a crossroads a while back. This enclosure as nice as it is, was about 1.5" to wide. Causing the seat on the passenger side to just miss the needed support the box was designed to retain. So me being who I am insisted the customer drop off the truck and I would design a brace to act like the one the factory had originally. Couple hours and some very strategic placement of lumber and we are good!

Been a bit since I did any SxS work. Customer came to me with some Kicker PowerCans he had purchased. Built a more ridged dash bezel to house the BT controller and an accessory switch.

2024 Sylvan Pontoon in for a few upgrades. Factory already had some nice Wetsounds Rev6's and a Wetsounds head unit. However it was missing the juice to push them and the low end to finish the spectrum. Add a Kicker 600.4 on the mids and a kicker 800.1 on a Solo L7 10. Add a second battery and all the supporting bits. Here we are........
