The last episode of the 62 Impala build. RetroSounds I can't say your dual 3.5 plate is correct. However I made it work. Modified the existing aftermarket kick panels to house the components the customer requested. Built a simple amp board with all the wiring being service looped as this is possibly not the final rendition. Yet the job must be proper. Dual 12 sealed enclosure fitted in the rear passenger quarter.

62 Impala corrected wiring. Kind of the original photos from a couple days ago....just better this time. 0ga big3 with proper wire terminations. Modern OEM style dash audio harness and radio power connector. Everything is now serviceable if needed. Soldered, crimped, zipped, wrapped, and heat shrunk appropriately.

1962 Impala SS drop top in for some much needed attention. From wire nuts to electrical tape covered connections. Bread ties to zip ties with no cut excess. Large gauge wire jammed in terminals that the reducer could have just been removed and it would have fit proper. Even a double stacked speaker set up.....just in one kick panel. I saw all 64 years of this cars history in the last week plus. Here are a few pictures of the tear down.

2009 Camry in for a full speaker replacement. Premium JBL amp had to be minorly reconfigured. So a jumper harness was built to operate things closer to the proper ohm and frequency ranges.

My pursuit of perfection both in aesthetics and function hit a crossroads a while back. This enclosure as nice as it is, was about 1.5" to wide. Causing the seat on the passenger side to just miss the needed support the box was designed to retain. So me being who I am insisted the customer drop off the truck and I would design a brace to act like the one the factory had originally. Couple hours and some very strategic placement of lumber and we are good!

2024 Sylvan Pontoon in for a few upgrades. Factory already had some nice Wetsounds Rev6's and a Wetsounds head unit. However it was missing the juice to push them and the low end to finish the spectrum. Add a Kicker 600.4 on the mids and a kicker 800.1 on a Solo L7 10. Add a second battery and all the supporting bits. Here we are........

Supreme V226 in for a minor rehab. Switched out an older non-marine Kicker 2 channel for a marine Fosgate 4 channel. Added a zone controller. Removed the factory non-marine Kicker 6.5's and upgraded to all new Kicker marine speakers. Removed the main glass fuse (and no other fuses) and went breakers. Also removed the CCA power wire and used proper OFC with lugs, ferules, and heat shrink. Just another day in the shop.

Another one in the books. Wrapped up the F100 today. Believe I got all the boxes checked the owner was looking for. Serviceable doors, loaded the sound bar, everything looking stockish, and all the extra bits fit behind the seat. Nice full sound. Nothing crazy over power.
