The third-party claims “specialist” may not have agreed with our approach, but the results speak for themselves — and Mother Nature certainly seems to agree.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to this environmental response.

For nearly 48 hours, our crews worked around the clock to contain the contamination, perform remediation efforts, and protect the surrounding environment. Most importantly, our local stream remained vibrant with life — a result that makes every long hour and difficult task worthwhile.

A special thank-you to the members of our team who remained behind to ensure our normal towing and roadside operations continued without interruption and that our customers and local agencies received the prompt service they depend on.

We also sincerely thank the towing company that requested our assistance and entrusted us with this response, as well as the subcontractors who provided the excavation and vacuum-truck services necessary to support the cleanup operation.

Environmental response of this magnitude requires coordination, specialized equipment, experienced personnel, and a tremendous amount of teamwork.

Collectively, we made a significant difference.

To every operator, laborer, subcontractor, and company that played a role in this effort — thank you for your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to protecting our local environment.

Strasburg pike will be closed be for an unknown period of time. Contracted crews are on scene cleaning storm drains and affected areas of waterways and grass. Please use alternative routes of travel.
