Great news!!

Contract Signed! Atmore Motorplex Opening March 2027: Bodie Tullis, Lem Jackson and Kevin Hadley

“I feel awesome. I just wish Ray Marshall would have been the first that I told that it was opening. He gave me the motivation for me to open this track back up. This track is opening in his memory,” said Bodie Tullis.

It’s official—the contract was signed TODAY, and racing is coming back to Atmore Motorplex! A five-year lease has secured the next chapter for the historic Atmore, Alabama, track, with plans to reopen in March 2027.

Tullis, Kevin Hadley and Lem Jackson are the three men behind the comeback. With the previous facilities removed and the track currently out of service, substantial work and upgrades are needed before racers return.

After its final race in 2025, many wondered whether Atmore’s gates would ever reopen. The track’s roots stretch back to 1976, with generations of racers and families making memories there.

The track will host bracket racing, Promod, Heads-Up, No-Time Racing, No Prep, Gassers and more.
