🔧 BIG JOBS. BIG SKILL. REAL EXPERIENCE.

Timing jobs aren’t small job….and they definitely aren’t jobs you want just anyone doing.

Today, the guys at AAMCO East Hartford are tackling some major timing work. These repairs can involve tearing deep into an engine, carefully removing and replacing components, setting timing precisely, and making sure everything is back together and operating exactly as it should.

It takes knowledge, experience, patience, precision, and a whole lot of attention to detail.

I’m incredibly grateful for the guys who have the skills to take on jobs like these. ❤️🔧

There’s a lot that goes into keeping a vehicle on the road that customers never get to see, the hours of diagnosis, the disassembly, the measuring, the double-checking, the problem-solving, and finally putting it all back together and getting that engine running right.

This is what experience looks like.
This is what skill looks like.
This is what happens behind the garage doors at AAMCO East Hartford.

We may joke around, get dirty, and occasionally lose a socket to the automotive gods 😂… but when it comes to your vehicle, we take the work seriously.

The answer is B! 🏆
The Differential is a clever set of gears that allows your wheels to rotate at different speeds when you turn. This essential component ensures your tires move smoothly without dragging or skipping on the pavement. ⚙️
At AAMCO, we specialize in the complex systems that keep your vehicle performing reliably. If you notice unusual noises or vibrations while turning, our experts are here to help.

It is Trivia Tuesday! 🧠🏎️
Think you’re a car expert? Let’s see if you can identify this "invisible" part of your drivetrain.

Question: When you take a sharp turn, your outer wheels have to travel a longer distance than your inner wheels. Which specific component allows them to rotate at different speeds simultaneously so your tires don't skip or skidding?
A) Transfer Case
B) Differential
C) Velocity Stack
D) Harmonic Balancer

MYTH: “If my car is still driving, it must be fine.” ❌
Ever noticed a small red fluid drip and thought, “I’ll deal with it later”?
That drip is often transmission fluid, and small leaks can turn into big repairs if ignored.
At AAMCO, we help catch issues early and explain what’s happening before it gets costly.

It’s National Compliment Day! We want to hear about your ride.
Finish this sentence:
“My car has been really good at ________.”
Long road trips? Surviving traffic? Getting you to work every day?
(Even if it’s just keeping the AC working or being paid off.)

Gas is expensive. Air is free. ⛽💨
Driving on under-inflated tires is like dragging an anchor behind your car. It burns money. Take 5 minutes. Fill your tires. Save your cash.

01/22/2026

Your car communicates through small changes.
Ever turned up the radio to ignore a strange noise? You’re not alone.
New sounds or vibrations are often early signs that something needs attention.
Squeak = “I need fluids” (Belts/Fluids)
Grind = “Check my brakes”
Thump = “Something feels off” (Tires/Suspension)
If your car is speaking to you, it’s worth listening. Bring it in. 🚗
