The call came in…and the Spooktacular Weekend recreation schedule has officially dropped.

Start making your plans for October 9–12 because this weekend is packed with campground-wide trick-or-treating, costume contests, Teen & Adult Inflatable Costume Kickball, Mr. G’s 33rd Annual Haunted House, the Haunted House Scavenger Hunt, pumpkin carving, site decorating, our Adult Costume Party with Little Red Barn Brewers and plenty more.

Study the schedule carefully. In scary movies, missing one important detail never ends well...

Which event are you most excited for?

Saturday night is when Spooktacular Weekend stops playing nice.

First, strike a pose on the red carpet during the Adult Costume Contest. Whether your look is creepy, clever, completely ridiculous or suspiciously convincing, this is your moment to make the whole campground ask: “Who’s behind the mask?”

Then follow the screams...or the music...to the Hayloft Lounge for the Adult Costume Party. Little Red Barn Brewers will handle the pour with beers and signature cocktails, so you can keep the costume and skip the cooler.

Just remember: if someone says, “I’ll be right back…I’m getting another round,” make sure they actually come back.

Give us one clue about your costume in the comments, but don’t reveal the whole thing....

Everyone is brave until they reach Mr. G’s front door.

Mr. G’s 33rd Annual Haunted House returns Saturday night, October 10. This is your chance to discover which member of your camping crew screams first, walks suspiciously fast toward the exit or suddenly remembers they left something back at the campsite.

If you survive Saturday night, don’t ghost us! Come back Sunday, October 11, and follow the clues during the Haunted House Scavenger Hunt.

Then Sunday night, trade haunted-house guts for pumpkin guts during the Pumpkin-Carving Contest.

What’s your favorite scary candy?

Campground-Wide Trick-or-Treating begins Saturday, October 10, at 1 PM—and the Kids’ Costume Contest follows afterward, so keep those costumes on!

Then it is time for a different kind of scream: Teen & Adult Inflatable Costume Kickball, open to campers ages 13 and older.

Once darkness falls, we will be watching the campground very closely as the Best-Decorated Site Contest is judged Saturday night.

Swipe through the Saturday lineup, then settle an important campground debate in the comments: chocolate, fruity candy or something sour?

Our Halloween camping weekend runs October 9–12, with featured events happening Saturday and Sunday: campground-wide trick-or-treating, costume contests, Mr. G’s Haunted House, inflatable costume kickball, pumpkin carving, our adult costume party and more.
