🐾❤️ While everyone else is fighting over HVAC leads, we’re thinking about something a little different this week…

The Upstate is expected to experience dangerously hot temperatures over the next several days. While we’re making sure our customers stay cool inside, we’re also asking everyone to take a few extra minutes to look out for the animals that depend on us.

💧 Leave out plenty of fresh, cool water.
🌳 Make sure they have access to shade.
🐾 Keep them off hot pavement and concrete, which can burn their paws in seconds.
🚗 And please, never leave a pet in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.

Whether they’re your family pet, a neighbor’s dog, or a stray looking for relief, a small act of kindness can make a life-saving difference.

A plumber removed a water heater and failed to properly seal the flue connection at the furnace. As a result, combustion gases that should have been safely vented outside were instead exhausting directly into the attic.

📢SCAMMERS AT IT AGAIN!!📢

If you receive a phone call that you are going to jail for not reporting to jury duty, not paying a ticket, failing to return a library book from 1997🤷…this is just the annoying, nothing better to do, scammers at it again!

PCSO will NEVER call you and make threats that you need to send money somewhere to avoid jail. Unfortunately, since these scammers have nothing better to do, they have gotten very sophisticated and are spoofing actual PCSO phone numbers and using our deputies names. IGNORE THEM or tell them to get a real job and hang up! As much as we wish we could put a stop to this, most of these individuals are overseas so we are unable to pursue them.

The best way to combat these relentless individuals is education and prevention. Do NOT withdraw or transfer funds to anyone that claims to be preventing you from going to jail.
