Big things are happening for Heroes Honor Ride at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. 💪

HHR is proud to announce our partnership with Berry Law as we work together to build a permanent Heroes Honor Ride headquarters at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.

This space will give riders, partners, sponsors, and visitors a place to connect with HHR throughout rally week, learn more about the mission, and be part of what we are building for American heroes.

Partnerships like this help us carry the mission forward in a bigger way, and we are grateful to have Berry Law alongside us as we prepare for the 2026 Heroes Honor Ride.

The Heroes Honor Ride is not just another ride during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

On August 9, 2026, registered riders will gather in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, at the Center of the Nation Monument for a presentation honoring the 2026 HHR recipient.

From there, riders will take part in a full police-escorted ride to the legendary Buffalo Chip for a rider’s reception and group photo.

It is a powerful experience built around recognition, respect, and the HHR mission.

As a rider and participant of the Heroes Honor Ride (HHR) you get to be a part of one of the most unique experiences and charity rides of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2026 - 86th. Meet and ride with our celebrity guest Tim Sylvia and Frankie Loyal and custom bike builder Derek Spitsnogle as we honor our nations heroes!

As a nonprofit who is supported by community involvement and charitable donations, HHR prides itself in how we allocate our donations with absolute transparency.

When you join our ride you become a part of the HHR story. All registered riders get to vote for our annual honor category which means you choose our next years mission while also having the satisfaction of knowing 100% of all ride registration fees went directly to purchasing and customizing the motorcycle you watch us present to our selected hero.

To make it even better each year we partner with different charities across the US to help raise awareness and donations for both the Military and First Responder communities.

All of this and we get to have our landing party at the legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip where all registered riders receive a riders gift box with custom shirt, limited edition HHR challenge coin and HHR sponsor and donor gifts.

Meet the 2026 Heroes Honor Ride recipient: Sergeant First Class Todd Peters.

Todd served 21 years in the Army National Guard, earning honors including the Bronze Star, Army Achievement Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and more.

But Todd’s story goes far beyond the medals.

His life has been defined by service, sacrifice, and showing up for others. Whether serving his country, volunteering with fire departments, dedicating time as an EMT, leading as Commander of American Legion Post #109, or continuing to help veterans as the Ho**er County Veterans Service Officer, Todd has never stopped putting others first.

During his deployment in Iraq, Todd made a promise to his soldiers’ families that he would bring their loved ones home. When one of his soldiers was killed in action, Todd fought to personally bring him home so he could be laid to rest with honor and dignity.

That is the kind of hero Todd is. A man of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment.

Heroes Honor Ride is proud to recognize Todd Peters as our 2026 recipient and honor his story with a custom-built motorcycle during this year’s ride at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
