On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Heroes Honor Ride would like to thank all of the men and women who unselfishly serve our communities as First Responders and Military Service Members. It is our mission to ensure the sacrifices you and your families make will be acknowledged, honored, and remembered forever.

Heroes are defined by what they do when others need them most. On September 11, 2001, firefighters and first responders showed the world extraordinary courage, selflessness, and sacrifice.

Those same values live on in firehouses and communities across our country today. As Heroes Honor Ride recognizes firefighters this year, we are proud to celebrate those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others.

A huge thank you to the Deadwood Fire Department and Spearfish Fire Department, along with every firefighter and first responder who has worked tirelessly to protect our communities and battle wildfires.

The long hours, dangerous conditions, sacrifice, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

We are SO glad that firefighters were chosen this year. They deserve every bit of the recognition and support. ❤️

Every rider who joined us for the 2026 Heroes Honor Ride had the opportunity to help shape what's next by casting their commemorative coin in support of the service category they wanted to see honored in 2027.

In 2027, Heroes Honor Ride will honor a firefighter.

We have begun accepting nominations as we search for an extraordinary firefighter whose courage, sacrifice, and service deserve to be recognized. Then, during the 2027 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, we'll present them with a custom-built motorcycle at the Buffalo Chip. WAY TO GO 🙌 Sometimes, going above and beyond means simply seeing what someone needs... and doing something about it.

When Property & Evidence Technician Jessamy Schachtschabel learned a domestic violence victim had no clean clothes to wear after an assault, she went home, grabbed clothing and personal hygiene items she had planned to donate and brought them to the station.

A small act of kindness made a big difference for someone going through an incredibly difficult moment.

Before heading to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, riders gathered in Belle Fourche to kick off the 2026 Heroes Honor Ride. It was the perfect way to begin a day centered on honoring an American hero, celebrating service, and bringing this incredible community together.

A special thank you to the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce for the warm welcome and for helping us start the day on such a memorable note! We're grateful to everyone who rode with us and helped make this year's Heroes Honor Ride one to remember. 🇺🇸🏍️
